Taxis from BNA Airport to the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University flat free service for $25 for up to 4 passengers. Travel time is 30 minutes. The flat free rate should be posted in the rear window of the taxi. SuperShuttle International, (615) 361-6034, offers airport transportation to all of Nashville and the surrounding area 24 hours per day, seven days per week. RAIL TRANSPORTATIONThe Music City Star Commuter Rail has six stations along the route between Lebanon and the destination station at Riverfront Park in downtown Nashville. Upon arrival at the Riverfront Station, passengers can board one of two Metropolitan Transit Authority buses at no additional cost: one circulates downtown, and one goes to West End/Belmont. Trains operate daily during peak commuter hours, plus a late train on Friday with a 9:30 p.m. departure from the Riverfront Park Station. The Metro Transit Authority (MTA) provides hourly service between downtown and the airport seven days per week. Express trips take only 20 minutes, and local service takes 35 to 45 minutes. One-way fares between the airport and downtown are available for under $2. In town, MTA provides bus service in and out of downtown and throughout the city. Tourists, residents, and business travelers now have a new, convenient and inexpensive way to travel to and from the Nashville International Airport and downtown Music City. For just $1.35, you can ride the Nashville MTA's route 18 Airport/Elm Hill Pike bus between the Nashville International Airport and Downtown Music City. The bus stop at the airport is on level 1 in the ground transportation area. For trips to the airport, customers should board at Shelter C, next to the Doubletree Hotel, on the downtown Transit Mall on Deaderick Street, between Fourth and Fifth Avenues North.
